Terms of Use
Version 2026.09.10 · Effective 10 September 2026
These Terms form an agreement between you and SportStack Technologies (Pty) Ltd, the operator of TeamSheet. By creating an account or selecting Accept and continue, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
1. The service
TeamSheet is a school-sports operations platform for teams, fixtures, selections, scoring, communications, transport, tours, reports and related activities. Features depend on the user's role, school settings, permissions, publication state and any applicable subscription.
TeamSheet supports school operations; it does not replace a school's safeguarding, medical, emergency, legal or professional responsibilities. Schools and authorised staff remain responsible for sporting decisions and for checking information before acting on it.
2. Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and use only your own account. You may not share private links or use another person's access. Staff acting for a school confirm that they are authorised to do so. A parent or guardian accepting for a child confirms their authority for that specific child. If you are under 18, you may use a player account only where your parent, guardian or responsible school has authorised it; where law requires an adult to contract, these Terms operate through that authorising adult or the applicable school agreement. A role name does not grant rights beyond the permissions and scope configured in TeamSheet.
3. Acceptable use
You may use TeamSheet only for lawful school-sport and personal recipient purposes. You may not scrape, resell or exploit platform or participant data; bypass access controls; upload malicious or unlawful material; impersonate another person; harass users; interfere with the service; or use private learner, parent or staff information for unrelated marketing.
Except where a right cannot lawfully be restricted, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, adapt or create a derivative product from a substantial part of TeamSheet's original software, user interface, documentation, text, graphics or branding; attempt to obtain non-public source code or confidential implementation details by reverse engineering or circumvention; remove ownership notices; or use automated extraction to reproduce the service or build, train, evaluate or operate a competing product. This restriction does not prevent lawful independent development that does not copy TeamSheet's protected expression, confidential information, personal information or restricted data.
4. Copyright and intellectual property
The TeamSheet software, design, documentation, original text, graphics and branding are owned by or licensed to SportStack Technologies (Pty) Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No ownership is transferred to you. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
Schools and users retain ownership of material they upload. They grant TeamSheet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the period reasonably necessary to host, store, secure, back up, resize, reproduce and display that material solely to operate TeamSheet and to publish it to audiences the authorised uploader selects. The uploader confirms that they have the required rights, permissions and authority, including for school logos, photographs, programmes, documents and third-party content.
Copyright complaints are handled under the Copyright and Takedown Notice.
5. Privacy, children and publication
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Acceptance of these Terms is not consent to unrelated marketing. Where separate consent or guardian authority is legally or operationally required, TeamSheet or the school will request it separately.
Authorised school users control whether eligible teams, fixtures, results and event information are published. They must check audience, accuracy, safeguarding and image-use permissions before publication. Internal drafts, medical information and restricted records must not be made public.
6. Paid subscriptions
Before payment, TeamSheet displays the selected plan, total recurring price, billing frequency and cancellation information. Payment is processed by the identified payment provider. A recurring subscription continues at the displayed frequency until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal and access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds and statutory cooling-off or cancellation rights are applied in accordance with applicable law; these Terms do not remove any non-excludable consumer right.
Parent Premium applies to the subscribing account and that account's legitimately linked children. Family Premium includes one additional adult with their own verified account and the subscribing parent's linked children. A linked parent or guardian may also authorise an adult with their own active Premium account to follow a specific child's published sporting activity. Neither form of family access creates guardianship, school membership, medical or identity access, consent authority, or school-management rights. Access ends when it is revoked, the authorising parent relationship ends, or the required Premium subscription ends. Shared members may not transfer access onward.
7. Service availability and corrections
TeamSheet aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted availability or that every fixture will be published or scored live. Users must verify time-critical, safety-critical and medical information through the responsible school contact. Errors should be corrected through the platform's authorised and audited workflows.
8. Important limitation notice
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeamSheet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on inaccurate user-supplied information, an unavailable third-party service, or use outside the intended workflow. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence where the law prohibits that exclusion.
9. Suspension and ending access
TeamSheet may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, schools, data, the service or legal compliance. Where practical, the affected party will be told why and given a reasonable correction or export path. School participation, user accounts and paid subscriptions have separate lifecycles; ending one does not silently destroy records that must lawfully be retained.
10. Changes and governing law
Material changes will be versioned and may require a quick new acceptance. Minor clarifications may be published without interrupting use. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties should first try to resolve disputes through support@teamsheet.co.za before using any statutory complaint, ombud or court process available to them.
