Access to Information (PAIA)
Version 2026.09.11 · Effective 11 September 2026
This page describes how to enquire about access to records associated with TeamSheet under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). It should be read with our Privacy Notice.
Enquire about a request
Email support@teamsheet.co.za with the subject PAIA enquiry. The appropriate authorised representative will respond with the applicable process, prescribed form, and any verified formal details needed for the request.
Records that may be held
Depending on the service and applicable retention periods, records may include company and governance records; agreements with schools, users, suppliers and service providers; policies and compliance records; personnel and contractor records; product and technical records; user, school-sport, support, security and audit records; billing and subscription records; and statutory records.
Some information is published without a formal request, including these legal notices and authorised public school-sport information. Private school, learner, guardian, medical, account and security records are not voluntarily disclosed.
How to request a record
After receiving the applicable process and prescribed form, identify the record clearly, explain the right you seek to exercise or protect, state why the record is needed for that right, specify the preferred form of access, and provide proof of identity and authority. A guardian or representative must show authority to act for another person.
Applicable prescribed request, search, preparation or reproduction fees may be required. We will communicate any fee and decision using the procedure and periods prescribed by law. Access may be refused or limited where PAIA permits or requires this, including to protect another person's privacy, confidential information, safety, security, legal privilege or intellectual property. Where reasonably possible, accessible parts may be separated from protected parts.
If a request concerns a record controlled by a school or another responsible party, we may direct the requester to that organisation or assist it as its operator. A privacy correction or objection may use the POPIA process described in the Privacy Notice.
Complaints and remedies
The decision notice will explain the available remedy. A requester may use any internal remedy that applies and may complain to the Information Regulator or approach a competent court as permitted by law. Current prescribed forms and guidance are available from the Information Regulator.
Use Legal and Contact Information to enquire about formal operator details or the appropriate channel for a request.
